Understanding your baby’s brain

Understanding your baby's brain
Many parents think that a newborn baby does nothing but mourn, suck and sleep, the truth is not, research has shown that newborn babies can do more.
Apparently babies have a number of important skills and reflexes that allow them to suck, mourn and grab things with their hands, among others.
They cry when they are hungry, tired or discomfort, and one of the most important things from my point of view, recognize the smell of their mother and are now able to focus on people’s faces.
At 6 months old can distinguish their parents from their caregivers.
Studies indicate that babies and young children are born with a range of reflections and survival skills that are the basis for thinking, understanding and learning. At birth, the baby is able to produce a wide range of sounds. They mimic our sounds through our particular language and intonations and sounds of our language.
For these innate skills necessary to develop a good stimulation for learning and development to make good progress.
The interaction is very important for the baby’s brain development, how much richer the better stimulation, they are ready to experiment and learn, and we must provide many opportunities to develop their thinking, understanding, problem solving and motivating.
To encourage your baby’s brain activity and smooth you can:
• Place in a crib hanging mobiles to stimulate your brain and visual development.
• Provide toys with texture, touch is very important, is a way of acquiring information.
• The background music is quiet and peaceful relaxing and provides other incentives to the baby.
• Toys with sounds and textures promote experiences that promote sensory perception skills.
• Mirrors, babies love them and are essential for building an image of themselves.
