How to Bathe a Baby
In the womb, your baby is submerged in water from the amnion, so the Vernice is absolutely necessary to provide waterproof protection. After birth, however, Mother Nature may need a helping hand!
Back to home can be frightening for new parents. Giving your baby his first bath can be scary!
Your baby does not need a special bath although many parents are well equipped for the newcomer. A clean sink or the big bath will suffice!
Perhaps the main concern for parents is to get the right water temperature. After making sure that you have baby items on hand, like a towel, a fresh diaper, clean clothes and a vest, put the baby in a safe location.
Run cold water first.
Fill it with hot water. Stir the water to prevent hot spots.
Dip your elbow into the water to check its temperature. Should be tempered. As the skin on your elbow is very sensual, is a reliably test the water.
If you want, you can add a bit of moisturizer, hypoallergenic, and children’s bubble bath. Stir with your fingers. Young babies do not need bubbles to play!
Undress and wrap the baby in a hot towel. Holding it in the bathroom, put some water in his free hand and gently place it over your head. The shampoo is not necessary for very tiny babies, because it can irritate your scalp.
Completely dry the baby’s head. Babies lose a lot of heat through their heads. Wet heads lose more heat.
Placing the baby’s neck sprain in his elbow and his hand holding the back of her leg, gently vuélquelo in the water. (Do a right-handed because it is easier to place the baby’s neck in the back of his left elbow. Holding his left leg with his left hand, wash your right hand. If you are a lefty, upside down do .)
Some babies hate being bathed but many really enjoy it. He can become so relaxed he falls asleep!
Cupping his free hand gently pour a splash on your body. No need to rub or scrub as babies do not get dirty. Only need to be refreshed up there!
Be aware that it will become very slippery when it is wet?
Just keep your baby in the bathtub for a little while because he will cool quickly. Never leave your baby unattended in the bathroom.
