Forbidden Foods

If your child has diarrhea from not eating or drinking any of the following foods:

• Milk and dairy in general, tolerance can be tested milk-based probiotics.
• Cheeses in general and especially mature.
• Egg yolk.
• Red meat and fish.
• leafy vegetables are high in fiber and cellulose.
• Raw fruits, whole and peeled.
• The following fruits: orange, grapefruit, tangerines, strawberries, kiwis, cherries, plums, grapes, pineapple, melon, watermelon
• Whole grains
• Soya, lentils, beans, chickpeas, peas
• Potato, Sweet Potato, Maize or corn
• Tomato, Green Squash
• Carbonated drinks, sodas
• Fruit juice concentrates and natural
• Snacks
• Mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard
• Sweets
• Sugar, sweeteners.

Foods Allowed

• Mineral water without gas
• lactose free milk
• Test tolerance for milk with added probiotics
• Test tolerance for dietary spreadable cheese
• Egg whites
• skinless chicken breast cooked on the grill
• cooked pumpkin
• Carrot cooked
• White rice last
• Cornmeal
• Chamomile tea, black tea common
• isotonic sports drinks that contain large amounts of minerals such as sodium and potassium.

Keep in mind that:

The food indispensable to counter the dehydration from diarrhea is water. If your child has diarrhea, give water a bit to hydrate slowly, give him drink water constantly.
If symptoms persist consult your pediatrician to determine the cause and treatment to stop the diarrhea.
